Allison & Darren's Nashville Wedding

From the photographer, Sarah Sidwell:

Allison and Darren are both introverted and were tempted by the idea of an elopement, but ultimately knew it would be important to include their families & close friends in the celebration of their new commitment and transition into a life together. Allison marched to the beat of her own drum on her wedding day! She brought her dog to the wedding and changed into tennis shoes right after the ceremony- feeling like herself and surrounding herself with things that made her comfortable.  Allison had a very close relationship with her Godmother, but she had never had the chance to introduce her Godmother to Darren. When Allison's godmother came up to Darren after the ceremony, she grabbed both Allison & Darren's arms with the biggest smile on her face. In that moment I could tell it was moments like this that would make Allison and Darren thankful they decided it would be best for them to include their family & friends in the ceremony instead of eloping, even though that would have been beautiful and romantic too.
