Welcome to The Tennessee Bride! Without further ado...
This first wedding is very special to me personally. I had the pleasure of working with both Jenna and Brad many years ago. Knowing that she had had a beautiful, southern wedding, Jenna was the first person I reached out to when I first dreamed up The Tennessee bride. Without a breath of hesitation she graciously sent me wedding images and told me all about her wedding. Some of these photos are a bit grainy when stretched to web size, but I decided to leave them; because they are beautiful and they are a reminder to me of all I have already learned as this big dream continues to become a reality!
This wedding is full of DIY details that were passionately crafted by Jenna herself. Join us on Facebook later to get some more answers to my Q&A with Jenna and to get a glimpse into their real life love!
How did the two of you meet?
The day I moved into my college dorms, I met him at church. Then I ran into him the next day at the University Center on campus. He asked for my number, asked me out, and a month later we were dating!
How long was the time between the proposal and wedding, why?
Just three months! We had been dating for 5 years already and absolutely could not wait any longer! My sister was leaving for Vienna, Austria for a study abroad program for 3 months and would be returning in the winter. I wanted a summer or fall wedding and did not want to wait another year!
What is the best thing about being married to Brad?
The best thing about being married to Brad has been coming to the realization that not only am I blessed to be his wife, but also the blessing of being able to love him. Brad, more than anyone else, deserves so much love. He is the most selfless, loving person, and the Lord chose me to be the one to love him? I consider it a privilege to be Mrs. Roberts and to be identified as his wife!
