What was your favorite thing about your wedding day?

My favorite thing about our wedding...it's so hard to pick just one! I would have to say it is a toss up between wearing my mother's dress and having all of our friends and family in one spot celebrating with us. Wearing my mother's dress was special not only because it created a special bond between my mother and me, but also because her father, my grandfather, was my best friend. He passed away the day after my 18th birthday and one of his wishes was to see me get married. By wearing the dress that he bought my mother, it was like he was walking with me down the isle. That is a feeling I will never forget. And then of course, we had people travel from New York, California, Florida, Boston, Texas, West Virgina-all over for our big day. Having everyone you love most in one place all celebrating your marriage is the most supportive and happy feeling one can ever experience! It was a day I will never forget and one I look back on all the time with smiles.
