Margaret & Kevin's Birmingham Backyard Real Wedding

These college sweethearts met at the University of Alabama. In fact, they were neighbors in the dorm their freshman year. I guess as the saying goes..."the rest is history." Fast forward to several years later and Kevin is down on one knee at Mount Vernon asking Margaret to be his one and only, forever and ever. Kevin is born and raised from Virginia, so this spot was extra special! In fact, we even incorporated Kevin's roots on the wedding menu, by serving up some delicious Virginia ham with homemade buttered biscuits. Yum! Margaret on the other hand, has always called the Heart of Dixie home and we couldn't have planned a more personal touch for these two than hosting the southern, backyard soiree at the bride's childhood home, just on the outskirts of Birmingham. It was a beautiful, warm and clear September day that was accented by a light and airy breeze and the great company of family and friends. We loved everything about this down home wedding, including the bride's trust in our vision to bring her garden party to life.
